Our Heather Honey comes from the  heather growing on Djouce Mountain in Co. Wicklow.  Heather Honey has a  luxurious taste and would appeal to people who like a stronger tasting honey.
 
Research from  a team in DCU and Trinity states it has similar antioxidant compounts as Manuka honey.  
 
Our hives are moved to the mountains when the heather is in bloom and then brought back to the Apiary once it has finished flowering.
 
Our  Honey was harvested by Beekeeper, Yvonne Johnston with her three sons Zach, Archie and Beau.
